The day has passed in a blur…

…as we started our long drive home.
We left our base in the Cairngorms at 8am and made good progress until Glasgow. Here we got caught up in loads of traffic due to roadworks on the motorway. Heavy rain didn’t help either so we crawled along mile after mile.

Thinking ahead we had booked a table at a favourite pub near our last campsite on the edge of the Lake District.
As the hours ticked by we started to worry that not only wouldn’t we get any supper but would be too late to get into the site.
In the end we made both in time but left no opportunity for photos.
Just as well I whiled the time away playing with ‘live’ photo on my phone
