Repurposed

Walked into and out of town for the exercise (first time in a very, very long time). It was clear blue skies and scorching hot till about 1pm and then it clouded over. Bought a few essentials and on a search for hat hooks (yes we need to do something with our hats that does not involve just putting them on high cupboards to accumulate dust) we found these gems. Sold for 99p each, in a charity shop, they appear to be glass finials for curtain rails. They are hopefully to be made into hooks for the wall!

MrH’s folks are visiting for a week and we’ve got quite a lot to do to ensure there is enough room for them to stay. I’m sorting papers, resources and drawers. I have 3 bags of shredding to take to my office on Monday. MrH is putting up shelves and trying to sort space in the loft. The house really isn’t big enough for 4 people, especially for a week but I’m sure we can just about cope. MrH’s parents live in France and I think they were very keen to visit their friends and relatives in the UK once restrictions eased. I think we will be one of their final stops. They’ve been staying with MrH’s brother all of this week. Not an ideal week to visit but we will work around it creatively.
