Sketches for a cloudscape?

We've enjoyed a week of fabulous skies. This blue canvas looks as if the artist had experimented with different styles of cloud. Bottom left, what looks like a white scratch is the vapour trail of a plane moving from left to right. Across the other side, against the roly-poly cloud (that looks a bit like the nib of a giant pen) is another white 'scratch' - a second plane moving from right to left. To the naked eye, they looked on a collision course. Of course, they weren't.

The sky hasn't been this colour all day today, and at one point it succeeded in dropping a few meagre, but large, raindrops. Then it changed its mind and the sun came out again. It's also been quite close; certainly warm.

Now looking forward to seeing the first Strictly Come Dancing of the 2021 season. I think I might even recognise two or three of the celebs this year!
