Did somebody say train trip?

The Northern Rail train ticket sale offered journeys for a £1 so who was I to refuse paying that price for a ticket to Appleby! Amazing to think it was just £2 to go all that way (and back!) on the Carlisle-Settle line, including going over the famous Ribblehead Viaduct. Just fantastic. :-D

A fab adventure of a walk around the surrounding area and through woodland, a little look around the couple of independent shops and a picnic for dinner.

To complete my Saturday? Well of course, Strictly Come Dancing on the telebox. I love Tom Fletcher of McFly fame so he's already a favourite!!!
