In-vest-ed

There's a lot of love between these 2...I absolutely love that they would hang out and love each other even if there weren't family ties.
This morning we headed up north for a bit of beach time with Lozz...the first beach was jam-packed so we drove somewhere a touch quieter. After a couple of hours of sunshine and high winds, we felt cream crackered and needed siestas. Ice cream, wanderings and roast dinners were all part of the last part of the day. 
It's been lovely getting messages from M and his girlfriend today, they seem to be making the most of a couple of days together. Even if he has to go back inside, at least they'll have had this unexpected weekend. Looking forward to having breakfast with them tomorrow. It's been odd not seeing him today or yesterday after the huge week we've had with him!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Lozz making the time and effort to come visit us. 
2) Asha being hooked on a new David Walliams book we borrowed from someone.
3) Danny cooking an excellent tea.
