10k Shine Night Walk for Cancer Research

 This afternoon when I was in Sauchiehall Street, I saw the above signs and a tent going up that said Cancer Research.
 I found out that the tent on Sauchiehall Street is one of the stops along the route for water. 

The 10k Walk began at 7.45pm this evening from the Exhibition Centre down at the River Clyde. The participants in the walk will each carry a light. 

They will go alongside the River,   turning towards the City Centre and on to Sauchiehall Street. From there they will walk to the West End passing the Art Galleries and back down to the Exhibition Centre to finish.
