The Great Huntress

This is a picture of our beagle, Liffey.
She comes from a long, very long, line of canine varmint catchers.  
    Of course, life with a couple of old people has dampened her instincts and slowed her responses.
     If you look in the grass at the top of the picture above her head you will see a little, brown bunny.  I saw it, you saw it,.... she never noticed it was there.
    But when she goes outside just before bedtime it's a dangerous time for any and all the crickets in the yard.
