Wind chimes and their shadows

On this occasion, the bright sunlight enhanced the scene. I was drawn to this unusual aspect of local suburbia which I hope will survive. No gentrification here.

Today I managed to get M out of the house to the Botanical Garden as I thought he'd enjoy the beautiful spring flower display. Picnickers in their legitimate groups of up-to-five fully vaccinated people were out in force. Some will by now have painful sunburns. On the way back we walked the path that took us right around the point, close to the water. The extra shows HMAS Adelaide, a helicopter landing vessel, which is absolutely enormous.
