DOCTOR WHO AND THE CYCLAMEN

RIP John Challis, better known to many as Boycie from Only Fools and Horses but also known to us classic Dr Who fans as the brilliantly villanous Scorby from my favourite 4th Doctor story "The Seeds of Doom".  So sad to hear this news today.  



A quiet day today.  Just working out a route to take G back to Edinbear on Wednesday.  Normally we go to Ingleston Park & Ride, which is easy to find being close to the Airport but unfortunately due to covid their toilet facilties are not open so I needed to find somewhere else.

After scouting around I have discovered somewhere called "The Secret Herb Garden which has a cafe, which is open.  It is just this side of the Edinburgh Bye-Pass so easy for G to book a taxi to take him into Edinburgh.  

I've worked out a route which will take us up the M6, A74(M), A702 and A701 going via Biggar and Penicuik.  Should be a reasonably pleasant journey (as long as it's not pouring down with rain).  

After a rainy morning the sun is now shining and everything looks so lovely and fresh.
