Chirk Castle

After a trip to the gym, we got showered and headed to The Lion Quays near Oswestry for an afternoon tea treat that was given to Chris by his nephew. The cakes were nice but there was a really irritating lady on the table next to ours who knew everything about everything and was extremely loud. She was also very rude about some of the guests at a wedding that was outside. I really had to bite my tongue not to tell her to mind her own business!
Afterwards, we headed to Chirk Castle as we couldn't fine the canal path that we'd been on before. It was a lovely, peaceful and sunny afternoon and I felt better for an afternoon out.
