Logan

What a fabulous day for a drive down to Dumfries and Galloway. The weather and scenery were fabulous and the Botanical Gardens at Logan were everythibg I'd hoped for and more. A very special place - just loved it there.

Then it was on to Portpatrick where we stayed overnight. We'd already been warned about one place so went in the other option, the Crown Inn, but the food was terrible, undercooked chips, overcooked veg, a terrible pepper sauce but at least the steak was nice. Shattered after all the driving and was in bed by 9.30pm.
