Back at The Kelpies.

After a lunch with old friends, MaggieD. Chloe and I set off for the Kelpies and the sun came out. We had a great stroll round, talked to a few people and dogs then headed back towards the car. I was surprised to see the lift bridge on the maim road moving and a boat coming through. We nipped back and watched as the little swing footbridge moved aside and five well grown cygnets were chased unceremoniously out of the lock chamber. I suspect we were quite lucky to see that as I doubt if that stretch of canal gets a great deal of traffic.
Soon be time to take Chloe for her evening walk and hopefully catch a decent sunset.
