In For a Sip
Female Ruby-throat stopping by for a sip from our feeder. I just had to grab this shot because I know that soon, very soon, the few females that remain here will be on their way to Central America and Mexico where they will over-winter. In the *extra...Our Pagoda Plants, Clerodendrum paniculatum, are finishing up blooming. The Pagoda is native to tropical Asia and Papuasia. Although they aren't considered 'invasive', they do spread by rhizomes and are popping up all over. They are, however, easy to pull up so all is well. This 'Pagoda' shaped bloom is about 16 " (40.64cm) tall and there are two of them on the plant! I started them last winter from cuttings a neighbor gifted me.
Wishing all of you a Peaceful Week.
