Tea Party!

I thought we would be drinking cups of tea but it was soooo much more!

Lovely friend Penny invited me to her birthday tea party today and I was gob-smacked at the thought, care and preparation that went into it. In a language my boys understand it was "awesome".

Just women, tea drinking (from a selection), chatting, raspberry fizz, proper posh sandwiches, scones, macaroons, cakes cakes cakes, party games, and best of all a great deal of laughing. We even went home with party bags full of hand made delights......

It was truly amazing - thank you Penny and Happy Birthday. x
