Wells Cathedral

Poor Mum had had a sleepless night last night, but she was still up for our planned activity this morning - a walk/wheel down to the cathedral to see an art exhibition in there.  Some great installations, and lovely to see the cathedral again.  We really took our time going round it all, and even though we needed to be back in time for Mum's lunchtime carer visit, it was nice to feel so unhurried.

I suggested Mum have a nap this afternoon, so she got her carer to hoist her onto the bed before she left.  I took her a cup of tea and left her to rest for a couple of hours.  Went back with a coffee later to wake her up, and to help her get up for the rest of the afternoon/evening.  I nipped out later to get a few bits and pieces from Morrisons, and then cooked us a salmon stir fry for dinner.  Feeling pretty sleepy myself, so didn't stay up too late.
