Learning to Read!!!

Well I am pleased to report that he has had a better day today - yay!

He and I had a go at his flash cards while his mother and sister decorated Easter bonnets!! He was brilliant.... Sounding out the words by syllable ...maybe he might just pick it up quickly like his sister has :-)

What a nice day we've had... H went to a party and we went with Charlie, armed with a bag of bread to feed the ducks - he was ever so chatty eight them, and didn't mind when a over enthusiastic female duck nibbled his finger!!

Tea done without arguments, bed gone to without arguments, ironing done without arguments (not that we get them to do the ironing!!), now watching - Our Girl on BBC1. Its actually quite good. It is filmed at the Army Training Regiment, Pirbright, where I worked years ago. Nothing on the drill square seems to have charged much...
