Sunday: Totally Tropical

Yesterday evening’s torrential rain continued overnight and lighter rain all morning. By lunchtime rain had stopped, Sky had cleared and we had a sunny afternoon - washing dried outdoors this afternoon!
MrD sealed a joint on the chimney and tinkered with the boiler, I did very little apart from family history.
The toad has returned after an absence of a couple of days - I imagine him/her eating a tummy full of slugs then resting under the trough for a few days to digest them … glad it’s back :-))
Glad of a restful day too … my batteries needed a re-charge!
