Return of Spring

After a week of cold winter-like conditions it is wonderful to welcome back Spring today.

Jeaniebean and I celebrated with a walk at Bortons Pond, where it quickly became obvious that I’d not sprung forward my wardrobe. By the time we completed the circuit I was weak from baking inside a fleece and winter trousers. Home for a cold drink!

The thumbnail highlights a Maimai in the middle of the pond: a duck-shooters’ hide. Happily it was surrounded by ducks and not occupied by humans while we were there.
