We had an impromptu lunch with wee Mags. She suddenly decided last night that she needed to get out for a wee while as she is currently a full time Monday to Friday carer for her grandson who is still a tiny baby.

Her pal Julie joined us at Papa Boa, for lovely Portuguese food, lots of laughs, and banter.

Wee Mags has been wanting to redo her pool for some time but didn’t have the money to do it properly. However, she got a call from her pension people to advise that there had been an error in how monies had been calculated when her hubby passed away, and he unexpected windfall meant she has a great looking new pool, perfectly timed for summer.

We are so chuffed for her, as she is such a special person.
