A cold Sunday
Today I mostly watched a documentary on Animal Planet about badly behaved cats with a cat behaviouralist who was also a part time rock musician. He looked rather strange for a guy who goes round coaxing terrified cats out of hidey holes and trying to tame vicious scratching and biting felines. He did seem to be fairly successful at getting the families to interact better with their cats. Often the human relationship would be a significant part of the problem, such as a cat owner getting a new partner who the cat doesn't like. Also none of the cats in the show were able to wander freely outdoors so they were cooped up often in quite small apartments without much stimulation which caused them to act up.
We eventually prised ourselves off the sofa for a while and went to the park for a walk. It was a bleak windy day with some snow still on the grass. The birds didn't seem to be having much fun either. I noticed these two trees, I think they might have pollarded them recently as I don't remember them being such a bare silhouette before.
Tomorrow it's back to work (only a four day week though) and then to the doctor to see if they'll take my faintness and tiredness and other symptoms seriously and do some blood tests. It's a bit tricky though as it'll be a locum and I don't know if it's one I've seen before or not. My GP surgery are very understaffed and it is becoming a problem.
