Ending the weekend in the Sheep Heid Inn
A great dinner in an amazing pub - Sheep Heid Inn claims to be the oldest pub in Scotland, in the same place in Duddingston Village since 1360. The pub is full of cosy nooks and crannies and it has a skittles alley (it's like bowling, only the ball has no holes and you have to set everything up by hand), the food is fresh and delicious and you can go for a walk afterwards, on cobbled streets of the village which is in the middle of Hollyrood Park, fifteen minutes walk from the city centre. Well recommended!
