“Covid Colin”
We have travelled to the Isle of Mull this weekend to be with our friends D and L on their croft. We were last here 18 months ago just as the first Covid lockdown was about to be announced and it is lovely to be back as they have been our friends for at least 50 years.
They have spent a large part of that time on the island and D has kept himself very busy but found time to make this amazing statue from wood and pieces of gas piping and it make an impressive entrance to the croft firmly attached to rocks. He also has made the tree house with doors that open and little figures inside to amuse his grandchildren. D call his construction Covid Colin and L prefers to call it Shepherd of the West !
The other extra shows a group of red deer galloping across the field beside us as we were working in the garden.
