Mono Monday...Four Hundred

I looked around today for a suitable subject for mono showing texture, light, shadow and detail...and acknowledging the four hundredth anniversary of this challenge...Hm, not easy and doubt I have achieved everything,  but there must be at least four hundred seeds here waiting to be dispersed...thanks to random_angel for hosting.:)
Good news...after another couple of phone calls a lovely lady from the RSPCA appeared at about 4pm and collect the goose, who is not injured thank goodness. She thinks he needs more space to take off, which is what some of you also thought. She is going to release him at nearby Manvers Lake....so a happy ending ...see extra
