Lapwing...

Overnight rain, but a sunny/cloudy start to the week here.   And the local roads continue to be chaos so we stayed home as we had no real errands to run!

Did go for a walk to get some bread, so took a detour to the creek to see what was about and it was nice to see a bit of wildlife down there including this lapwing.  The flood gates at Benfleet were also shut which was an odd sight at low tide so not sure if they were doing maintenance.... or a very high tide was forecast!
