Life through the lens...

By ValC

Favourite beach.

Perranuthnoe. Our favourite beach and where we spent many happy family holidays when my mum and dad live down here.
This morning I left Mr C sitting in the garden and had a walk along the coast path from here to Cudden Point.
Because of coastal erosion the path no longer hugs the cliff edge, and is very difficult in places.
Lots of speckled wood butterflies fluttering among the blackberries.
The small fields along this part of the coast are very productive because of the micro climate. Early potatoes are now followed by cauliflowers
The last house I passed had the most amazing views from two balconies.
( well you can always dream!)

Was tempted to blip another view of the bay but as I blipped St Michael’s Mount yesterday I decided on one of Perranuthnoe beach looking towards Cudden Point. The light was fabulous.

So the extra shows the view of the bay, as well as the other things I have mentioned.

Lovely walk. Perfect weather again.
Back in time for a late lunch, and then sat out in the garden with a nice chilled glass of rosé.

Another perfect day in Cornwall.
Just a shame Mr C couldn’t join me on the walk, but he did enjoy sitting in the garden and later had a nice bottle of Timothy Taylors.

Thank you so much for your comments, stars and hearts for St Michael’s Mount picture yesterday. Glad that many of you enjoyed seeing the Mount from a different angle.
