Common Darter

We had a walk on Ince Marshes today. It is the first time I have been down here for months. It what was a regular walk in the early spring when lockdown eased. The birdlife is not so abundant at this time of year but there were plenty of dragonflies. I cropped this close because the background wasn't very interesting and at least you can see it was smiling for the photo.

Lands End to John O'Groats 1000 Mile Virtual Challenge Update

Day 224 -  Highlands 3.2 miles walked  887.6 miles completed

It looks like I was only at a retail park on the outskirts of Inverness yesterday but today the walk took a convoluted route around the area and I finished by the railway station.
