Still Laughing and Learning …

… at 93. I had popped up to see Rosemary as she was not answering her mobile phone. She had not realised that she had been turning the volume down as she held the phone so it was on silent. Having fixed that, she went on to tell me her covid certificate was on her phone but she didn’t know where. I found it in “photographs” and went through the stages of how to get to it several times. She thought this was just magic and burst out laughing at the idea of having a magic phone! Rosemary is such a character, fiercely independent, so interested in other people’s lives, rarely complaining about her own significant health problems. She just wishes she could see her family more often but they live in the UK and she doesn’t want to live there as all her social network is here. This is a common ex pat problem of course.
