Edinbrugh Zoo

We were all off today so decided to go to the zoo!

Dropped H off at Granny and Grandad’s house for 9am so we could make our 10am slot.

Then disaster, got stuck in a traffic jam between Uphall and Newbridge and didn’t make the zoo until around 11:30am.

Ended up going up to the A71 as didn’t move for ages from about 100m from the roundabout. So frustrating! MrsT did call it that we should have turned around about 90 mins earlier but would I listen…..

Anyway, enjoyed a nice day at the zoo seeing all the animals and reading about their status in the wild etc.

This was one of the locals in the Budongo Trail (I worked on this project when it was being built around 2008).
