Daily Green Mile

Confirmation today of a slight increase to my school hours to make more space for some targeted intervention with students who need  a different approach or a little more help to engage with school as well as they can. 

Bringing back daily mile (or at least 3x a weekly mile!) for some of them is definitly a priority. And making it a green space one, not a school grounds one. Most primaries here do some version of it but it drops off at secondary, mostly practical timetable reasons. But we all know the benifits of walking and green space are huge so a wee wander is back on.
Found this hidden gem as I was scoping out good routes from school. One of thsoe, knew it was there, sort of been there but not fully explored places. And its ace! Suspect it'll be a favourite.
