Mono Monday. “ Heathland “

A beautiful piece of heathland. Unfortunately, the heath is now on the decline, but I could well imagine how beautiful this must have looked.
Very sad is that when we were walking there, there were young people playing with fireworks.
Shortly after we walked past it, a man addressed these young people that they were not supposed to be playing with fireworks in the woods.
This man was then stabbed by one of those boys with a knife. Suppose we had said something about that then? I can't think about it. We saw the ambulance pass by with its siren blaring and we didn't know what had just happened behind us. We heard it on the news afterwards.
Nowadays you hardly dare to speak to anyone about his actions. You never know how they will react. Young people from slums, but also from renowned neighborhoods walk around with stabbing weapons just to fit in. Too bad.
