Jones House, Katoomba

I'd always just thought of this fairly modern building as the Katoomba Post Office, and had no idea it had a name. The usual internet searches as to the origin turn up nothing.
The Blue Mountains Food Co-Op is in the rear of the building, accessed from Ha'penny Lane, but there is no clue there either.
