Lights

Slept better and definitely felt less ill than yesterday thank goodness! Very packed day…pre-interview meetings then interviews with 5 people…had 15 minutes away from the screen all day, but they went well and mostly enjoyed listening to them all. Just enough time after we’d finished the wrap up to freshen up and go to book group. We’d read The Fair Botanists which was a story around the establishment of the Edinburgh Botanic Gardens and I enjoyed it. No great literary work but interesting and an easy read.
Non stop chat, delicious food (although I ate too much and hit a bit of a wall before the cake came out for Arclight and LauraMuir’s birthdays!). We had been going to leave earlyish but of course didn’t and then had parking trouble when we got home
