Colchicum Autumnale

A solitary autumn crocus which I didn't know we had and could easily have missed. The slugs had obviously been aware of its presence.

Felt rotten with something that's been going on for a couple of weeks. Phoned the doctor. So unlike me, I don't think I've had a doctors appointment since 2010. Anyhow, he was kind and listened and has left me a prescription for some antibiotics as a first solution.
