A great day for a hike!

Although the kiddos weren't so thrilled! The "short and sweet" hike we had planned for Friday afternoon ended up being a bit longer and harder than we expected. And we left a bit later than we should have so we were all VERY hungry and a bit miserable by the end of the walk.

Of course, our youngest was the one with the most profound statement....after reaching our "destination", she asks "where are we going now?" To which we replied "back to the car". And she comments "You mean we walked all the way out here for NOTHING!??" HAHA!
