Big is so much better

We went up and over the saddle left of centre and down the other side into the Kowai. A few boulders, plenty of scrambling and the odd waterfall to negotiate.

The usual array of criss-cross scrapes and scratches on my legs plus 3 wasp stings.

A long and fabulous day in the some amazingly broken terrain.
