Happy hour at Lake Weyba

We attended our local church today in Peregian Springs. They had a couple baptised today which was wonderful to witness and hear their testimonies.

Later in the afternoon, we had been invited to join happy hour at Lake Weyba, which is about 8 mins away from us.

Lovely afternoon out by the lake. Got to meet the husbands of the ladies I attend Bible study with, so that was nice.  

We actually holidayed at lake Weyba many years ago when the boys were little.

Been a good social weekend, which has been great, but feeling quite tired.

I think our bodies are responding to the stress off these last few months. We are coming up to 6 months here in Oz. It sure has whizzed by!!!

p.s. oh man …. Blipfoto has just alerted me that this is my 9th blip anniversary! Oh my goodness, this has just crept up on me, and I haven’t planned anything special for it :(. Playing catch up ….  I’ve missed an opportunity for a wonderfully Aussie blip!
