A beautiful day, but neither MrM nor I hardly set foot outside the gate. Though I managed a quick trip to the hardware store for a light bulb, and on the way back popped in to the Good Life Shop for some marmalade.

A surprise visit from Alan G this morning. Good to see him, and an excuse for an extended coffee break before getting back to my role as painter and decorator. Started on the skirtings in the hall - first coat of eggshell on about half now. There seem to be miles of them...
