Drifted

'Drifted' is the title of this temporary art installation of 12 floating white pyramids at Fountains Abbey. The inspiration for this was taken from plans for a pyramid folly on the estate. There is, however no evidence the folly was ever actually constructed.
There is also a rather striking bright red bridge constructed over the river near where an iron bridge once stood.
The giant yellow spiked artwork in the temple of piety which you can see in the above link was recently removed. I did wonder if it had suffered a puncture.....

I quite liked this installation, however the red bridge and the (now gone) spikes are somewhat bonkers!
