Hedgerows
I think Autumn hedgerows are very attractive - here's an example with rose hips and Old Man's Beard. I did another section of the Sheffield Country Walk today. On paper, it's probably the least attractive section, passing through the most industrial and commercial parts of the city, but whoever devised it has cleverly contrived to take the route through secret pathways between the developed areas, along the canal, and though scraps of heathland and woodland.
I spotted a dot on this photo, which on closer inspection turned out to be a Green Shield Bug. (see extras)
