Red Admiral.

We had lunch with friends in Wishaw today and a good wander round their beautiful garden. Lots of flowers still in bloom and this butterfly posed just long enough for a quick photo. 
Due to ongoing roadworks on the M74, we took the back road only to encounter a massive diversion which took us through places I didn’t even know about. Talk about intrepid explorers!
