Blakemere Moss, the large water feature within Delamere Forest. Apparently the area was drained in the 19th century & forested, but proved uneconomic so was clear-felled & allowed to flood in the 1990's, reverting to something like its former self. Odd to see the tree stumps, but I liked this line, with the little birch holding its head up.
