I lived in Sheffield from 1987 to 1994 and, even though they played various venues in the city many times,  I never went to see Pulp. I wasn't really a fan back then. The same can be said for Cabaret Voltaire. I absolutely love them these days and the influence of 'The Cabs' is massive. Pioneers, that's what they were. Electronic innovators completely.

Founding, and now sole, member Richard H Kirk's death was announced today. I'll be playing a few of his tunes tonight for sure.
