Narrow escape

Thankfully the young guys riding this bike some ten minutes before, leapt away just in time before it went up in flames.

It was a case of misjudged distance and, I suspect, lack of experience, that resulted in a complete wobble before the bike hit the kerb and whoosh, it was hardly recognizable as the delivery vehicle it once was. I felt really sorry for the young Uber Eats delivery guy that was going to have to explain to his mate who owned the bike, why it was no more, plus the poor guy would be out of a job for a while.

At least he didn’t have medical bills to add to his woes.
