Meeting up!

Yaay, after work today a small group of the L to Z team met up in Norwich for a few hours. We are not allowed to meet at work so it was the first time I have seen Matthew and Clare in person, since March 2020. It was the first time all of us had met new team member Chris who joined us in February this year, and a relief for him to at last know we were normal (!) Human beings, not just small faces on a screen. So together with Heather and I the 5 of us manages to find an evening we were all free.

A great evening was had by all of us and we chatted about all things from stamp collecting, airfix kits, using a shewee in the back of a Peugeot, to what we wear in our home offices. Above all, we DID NOT talk about work. We had a good few laughs, and I certainly felt better for it. We want to do it again and we were sad to miss Nic, Lucy and Carol, so hope they can join us next time.

Home by 9.30 and after a nice cup of tea, I'm heading to bed.
