Golden Daffodils

We had a wonderful morning in Queenstown.  The traffic got busy as we neared Queenstown, but apart from that, we were often the only ones on the road.  We went there via the Gorge, and home over the Crown Range.  Our two favourite cafe's at Remarkables Park had closed down, so we had to find somewhere new for our Eggs Benedict.  My only purchase today was new walking shoes.  They are very comfortable.

My eldest daughter and her family live in Melbourne, and she txt me to say that they were all oik after this morning's earthquake.  Her hand painted ceramics broke when they fell, which is sad for her.  We didn't feel the quake here in this part of NZ.

It has been a beautiful sunny day without a cloud in the sky.  Simply perfect.
