Too Slow

Wet and yucky today. I heard a tui, looked outside to spy one in my kowhai. While very plentiful around here, I think I've only had one in our tree maybe once before. I decided the proper camera was due a turn (it has been a long time) but as usual, by the time I returned, it was gone and did not return. The practice photo I took ended up being the only photo of the day. It at least shows the grey, wet day and the lovely yellow kowhai.
