Onlookers
These are our neighbours on the Croft and they seem to like watching what is going on. The 6 cows and their calves belong to a neighbouring crofter friend and D keeps an eye on them - this is making a change as on previous visits there have always been sheep in the fields especially at lambing time.
Unfortunately the weather is still very damp and the distant hills were obscured. The large headland in the background is known as the Burg and is well known for its fossils.
In the morning D and I walked to one of his friends to deliver some onions and we were taken to his workshop where he specialising in fixing quad bikes for the locals - the ground beside his house seems to be a graveyard for a variety of old machinery and things he is working on as can be seen in the extra.
