The saga of the move is not resolved.
The owner of the house (vacant possession) who is selling to our son and his wife, may not now let them move in as tenants for 6 months, whilst their own house sale goes through once more.
They had an offer straightaway last Saturday and this time the buyer is not in a chain. So no chance of collapse.
The deadline for hearing if they can rent is tomorrow lunchtime.
So they are all still living with us, and likely to be so until things are clearer.
It’s all very unsettling and exhausting.
I hope the laws in England can be changed. It’s so terrible seeing what people are put through when a housing chain collapses.
