Gratuitous Beaver Shot

Mum and I took a lovely walk along the Mukogawa this afternoon and were surprised to see lots of beavers coming up to people to eat bread from their hands. I had no idea that so many beavers lived along this river. We then walked on to Kotoen to watch the Shinkansen above the tunnel where I took this blip. Then Arthur came home with a One Piece clock which he won in a bingo game at the creche. Lovely day.

Update: A facebook friend has just informed me that this creature is not a beaver, it is a nutoria, or beaver-rat. My mother is now annoyed that she ruined a pair of tights climbing down a river bank to see a rat!
