The Beach at Formby, Lancashire

The wide expanse of beach here and a fair bit of land behind belongs to the National Trust and is a fantastic expanse of sand Why anyone would want to visit Southport, a few miles up the road is beyond me! This shot looks north towards Blackpool which isn't really visible in this photo but we could see with binoculars
